The GCS International Hong Kong Chapter successfully organized its first live poomsae competition for good causes on July 31, 2021.

The 2021 Tae Sports Poomsae Championships was held in Hong Kong, drawing about 100 participants from Hong Kong.

The one-day event was promoted by the Tae Sports Academy and supported by GCS Hong Kong, headed by Mr. Andy Kwan.
“One of the reasons for organizing the event was to do good deeds and causes,” Mr. Kwan said. “First the event served as a platform for the Hong Kong taekwondo community to stay active during the pandemic.”

The GCS Hong Kong Chapter president continued to say, “Secondly, part of the proceeds from the event will be donated to GCS International to help support the WT Cares students and the unfortunate and underprivileged.”
