GCS International Signs MOU with WT, ADF, ICKC on Taekwondo, Korean Language Promotion

GCS International signed a cooperation agreement on the promotion of taekwondo and the Korean language with World Taekwondo (WT), the Asia Development Foundation (ADF) and the International Center for Korean Culture (ICKC) at the WT headquarters in Seoul on September 28, 2018.

Under the agreement, the four organizations will cooperate to promote taekwondo, the Korean language and the Korean culture in developing countries around the world, especially in Asia.

The signing ceremony, which took place at the conference room of WT in downtown Seoul, drew WT President Chungwon Choue; WT Secretary General Hoss Rafaty; Huh Jong, vice president of GCS International; and Cho Nam-chul, president of the ICKC, who also serves as a standing director of the ADF. Also attending the event was Lee Hyung-mo, board member of the ICKC.

As part of cooperation efforts, ICKC President Cho will attend taekwondo and other cultural events, including the ‘2018 GCS International Convention and the Inauguration of GCS Cambodia National Chapter’ in Phnom Pen, Cambodia on November 10, 2018.
