GCS International Headquarters Holds 2026 Board of Directors Meeting in Seoul

The 2026 Board of Directors Meeting of the GCS International Headquarters was held on January 20 at the 5th-floor auditorium of the GCS International Headquarters, located in Jongno-gu, Seoul.

The meeting was attended by Chairman Chungwon Choue, Directors Jaeseung Song, Myungho Seung, Inhee Yoo, Gwanggyun Lee, Jaeheung Lee, and Hyungtaek Lee, as well as Auditors Byungro Kim and Heewoon Lee.

During the meeting, the Board approved the financial settlement report for fiscal year 2025 and the budget plan for 2026. In addition, the business activity report for 2025 and the business plan for 2026 were formally reviewed and approved.

The Board also approved the reappointment of Directors Sangjin Kim, Gwanggyun Lee, and Jaeheung Lee. Furthermore, the appointment of Mr. Hyupkyu Choi, CEO of Highland Equity Partners, as a new Director was officially approved.

It was reported that Directors Sunggu Jang and Younghwa Son submitted their resignations at this meeting. The organization expressed its sincere appreciation for their dedication and contributions to the foundation’s growth and development over the years.

President Chungwon Choue of the GCS International announced plans to hold a commemorative event in celebration of the 45th anniversary of the designation of the UN International Day of Peace. He also stated that this year’s International Convention is scheduled to be held in Korea. In addition, he emphasized the importance of revitalizing the activities of national clubs in the Philippines and Taiwan, which had been highly active in the past.
