GCS International Signs MOU with World Taekwondo, Taekwondo Humanitarian Foundation on Humanitarian Projects

GCS International signed a memorandum of understanding with World Taekwondo (WT)and the Taekwondo HumanitarianFoundation (THF)in May 2016 to jointly carry out humanitarian projects.
Representing the GCS International, Dr. Huh Jong, executive vice president of GCS International, inked a cooperation pact with Dr. Jin-bang Yang, director general of World Taekwondo on May 25, 2016 at the WT headquarters in Seoul, Korea.
Under the agreement, the two organizations agreed to conduct joint projects for NGO and humanitarian issues and organizing joint meetings, workshops and conferences.
On May 19, 2016, Dr. Huh signed the same agreement with Roger Piarulli, executive director of the Taekwondo Humanitarian Foundation, at a hotel in Montreux, near Lausanne, Switzerland.
The THF, the brainchild of WT, is a charitable foundation established under Swiss law in April 2016 and the two organizations are financially and organizationally independent.
Under the pact, the three bodies closely cooperate to help empower the powerless in the developing countries through free taekwondo education.
