2025 GCS International Board Meeting Takes Place at GCS HQs

The 2025 GCS International Board Meeting took place at the GCS International headquarters in Seoul, Korea on February 20, 2025.

At the board meeting, the board members unanimously approved the 2024 income-expenditure report and the 2025 budget and business plans.

Among the attendees were GCS International President Chungwon Choue; Yoo In-hee, chairman of Youngbo Group; and Lee Hyeong-taek, representative attorney of law firm Tong.

At the meeting, GCS International Secretary General Seok-jae Kang reported that the number of GCS International national chapters was 83 at the end of 2024. Kang also reported that GCS International plans to hold an inauguration ceremony of GCS national chapters in Pakistan and Kazakhstan this year.

The board members decided to give Kyrgyzstan the right to hold the 2025 GCS International Convention at the country’s capital of Bishkek on September 19, 2025. The GCS International Kyrgyzstan Chapter plans to organize a GCS taekwondo event and a World Taekwondo Cares event on the occasion of the GCS International Convention.

GCS International also plans to work together with the International Center for Korean Culture and other GCS-related organizations, including the Asia Development Foundation, to hold cultural events at home and abroad.
