GCS Colombia Chapter Sends GCS HQs Activity Report during COVID-19 Emergency

The GCS International Colombia Chapter sent its activity report during the COVID-19 emergency to the GCS International headquarters on May 26, 2020.

“We bring to your attention the present report of the activities that we have carried out in Colombia during the year 2020, and in particular, during the time that the quarantine decree by the Colombian government has been presented, in response to the pandemic caused by COVID-19,” said Mr. Raul Pinzon, president of the GCS Colombia Chapter in his letter.

Shortly after receiving the activity report, Dr. Chungwon Choue, president of GCS International, sent his thank-you letter to the GCS Colombia president.

“I was happy to hear from you last Friday via the Zoom video conferencing. My special appreciation goes to you for your active GCS activities in these difficult times,” Dr. Choue said. “Your activity report shows various activities, such as a taekwondo class from 18 children in the city of La Calera; GCS Colombia’s support for the Revancha Futbol 11; and your provision of markets for 15 families and aid for the payment of public services. Kindly send my best regards to Grand Master Lee Kyong-duk, “the father of taekwondo” in Colombia.”

“Your GCS Colombia activities are really showing to the other GCS communities your full commitment to the promotion of the GCS Movement,” Dr. Choue said.
